Prefer prose? A snappy summary of reviews so far: Looking at review rankings for the long-wearing category an average of four suggests users & critics when asked "how long-wearing is this product?" usually suggest stays all day. Feedback for the colour category an average total of five suggests replies to "does this product shift, or is it true to the pan/box/tube?" mainly suggest true to colour. Considering feedback for the glow category the current four is a sign that evaluating "how much glow does this product provide?" usually indicate frost.

at blushgarden, we think differently about reading and writing beauty product reviews. we believe product reviews should provide you with detailed information, let the writer quickly and easily share their thoughts, and be a fun experience for all. to achieve this, we provide a ratings scale for distinct criteria, alongside traditional written comments. this format gives reviewers a way to provide an in-depth review of the same specific aspects of a product, allowing you zero in on the criteria that are most important to you.

without the need for long-form written text, everyone saves time. don’t let us discourage you from waxing poetic if you are so inclined, some people are gifted writers and should share if they want to. we just want to encourage and provide great reviews without that particular barrier to entry.

as an example, one rating criteria for highlighting & contouring is glow. glow ranges from matte to frost. Matte might be a desired quality for you, while frost might be desired for someone else. there isn’t a right answer, only your opinion.

an added benefit to the scales is quickly seeing how a product might perform. you can identify that a product is rated highly for glow without reading a lot of text. easily compare and evaluate similar products based on identical criteria. apples to apples, if you will.

we would honestly love to hear your feedback, if you have an idea for a new rating criteria, let us know! post in the feedback forum, or send us an email to .

not a review but perhaps helpful - here is a description from the source: What it is: An innovative pro tool that combines a liquid highlighter and applicator in one. What it does: It's a new way to apply luminous highlights or an allover soft-focus effect. Sheer and buildable, the oil-free formula hydrates and lasts eight hours without touchups. How to use: Pull off the cap. Slowly twist the base of the stick until the first drop appears. If too much highlighter is released, twist the base back. Gently tap onto the tops of your cheeks, nose and cupid's bow. Buff and blend using circular motions. To clean, twist the ring at the top to remove the entire sponge. Wash the sponge tip gently with mild soap and warm water. Pat dry with tissue. Immediately reattach to the stick and twist the ring tightly to secure. Allow the sponge to dry before recapping- 0.47 oz- Dermatologist tested; ophthalmologist tested
