at blushgarden, we think differently about reading and writing beauty product reviews. we believe product reviews should provide you with detailed information, let the writer quickly and easily share their thoughts, and be a fun experience for all. to achieve this, we provide a ratings scale for distinct criteria, alongside traditional written comments. this format gives reviewers a way to provide an in-depth review of the same specific aspects of a product, allowing you zero in on the criteria that are most important to you.

without the need for long-form written text, everyone saves time. don’t let us discourage you from waxing poetic if you are so inclined, some people are gifted writers and should share if they want to. we just want to encourage and provide great reviews without that particular barrier to entry.

as an example, one rating criteria for blush is glow. glow ranges from matte to frost. Matte might be a desired quality for you, while frost might be desired for someone else. there isn’t a right answer, only your opinion.

an added benefit to the scales is quickly seeing how a product might perform. you can identify that a product is rated highly for glow without reading a lot of text. easily compare and evaluate similar products based on identical criteria. apples to apples, if you will.

we would honestly love to hear your feedback, if you have an idea for a new rating criteria, let us know! post in the feedback forum, or send us an email to .

color: it's complicated! it's a pinky, bronzy, goldish with a bit of plum. you can swirl them all or use a smaller brush to get more of a specific color. application & wear: it applies nicely with a unique creamy feel and can be more of a blush or highlighter or bronzer depending on which colors you use and how you apply it. verdict: this is a really fun blush that can be warn many ways to compliment different colors. the highlight of the mirage noir 2018 collection!

not a review but perhaps helpful - here is a description from the source: What it is: A limited-edition unique face powder with a mesmerizing wave pattern pressed into it. What it does: The pearlized and satin shades feature a rich texture and velvet finish and can be used as a blush and highlighter. It's rich, creamy and blends effortlessly with ultimate color payoff. Do a double take in a noir mirage that blurs reality. Step into the electric haze of an endless summer night, where shade-shifting hues trip the mind. It is presented in specially designed hypnotic duochrome packaging that shifts from blue to purple. How to use: Use a large brush and apply over the face if you'd like to achieve a light application. To use as a highlight, apply with a small brush or sponge on the eyelids or browbone.
